Data Sharing Portal

If you represent an organization or if you are an individual who wants to use INCISIVE data, you may register on the INCISIVE platform and become a member of our data user community. Fill-in the contact form you can find on this page and the INCISIVE representatives will get in touch with you with further instructions.

Once your registration process is complete, you will have access to the INCISIVE platform where you can perform queries over the INCISIVE data based on various filters and/or train your models in a centralised and/or federated manner (depending on your preference and where the data is stored). Please note that the data never leaves the INCISIVE platform, so you will not have the option to download or store INCISIVE data locally and use it outside the INCISIVE platform.

The data available in the INCISIVE platform relates to 4 cancer types, with two different types of data included: (i) Imaging examinations (MMG, MRI, US, CT, PET-CT and histopathological images) & clinical metadata (patient demographics, biopsy results, laboratory examinations results, tumor and treatment details) collected for several timepoints. Specifically, the platform contains:
  • Breast cancer: For more information about the data click here
  • Lung cancer: For more information about the data click here
  • Colorectal cancer: For more information about the data click here
  • Prostate cancer: For more information about the data click here
The data currently available comes from 9 different Data Providers and from 5 countries:
  1. ONCOLOGY INSTITUTE OF VOJVODINA (UNIVERSITY OF NOVI SAD) – Serbia
  2. NATIONAL AND KAPODISTRIAN UNIVERSITY OF ATHENS – Greece
  3. ARISTOTLE UNIVERSITY OF THESSALONIKI – Greece
  4. HELLENIC CANCER SOCIETY – Greece
  5. VISARIS D.O.O – Serbia
  6. FUNDACIO CLINIC PER A LA RECERCA BIOMEDICA – Spain
  7. LINAC-PET SCAN OPCO LTD (GERMAN ONCOLOGY CENTER) – Cyprus
  8. UNIVERSITY OF ROME TOR VERGATA – Italy
  9. UNIVERSITY OF NAPLES FEDERICO II – Italy

For the data available in the INCISIVE platform, the following metadata are also made available:

  • Data Contributor
  • Primary Investigator
  • Prior de-identification tools used
  • Modalities
  • Body parts examined
  • Number of patients
  • Gender Percentage
  • Age mean & std values
  • Country of origin
  • Ethnicity percentage
  • Studies per patient
  • Approximate date range of image studies
  • Series per study
  • Percentage of complete cases (Clinical metadata include all mandatory fields and imaging data at baseline and at least one timepoint)
  • Details of DICOM Series Descriptions
  • Vendor(s)

INCISIVE offers the possibility to search for data of interest to you, through its Search Engine Interface, in a federated manner. You can submit a federated search query based on specific filters – parameters to find cases that match the criteria you have selected. Current filters you can use for querying data are:

  • Gender
  • Age range
  • Cancer type
  • Cancer stage
  • Months of observation
  • Image modality
  • Treatment/therapy
  • Data Providers/Research group
  • Dataset country of origin
  • Datasets with full cases
  • Genetic data available
  • Timepoints Label

When you have selected the parameters that best describe your query you can start the search. A search result will be returned to you including all datasets available that matched your request including Imaging examinations & accompanying clinical data.

Yes, you will need to agree to terms and conditions of data use. The obligations will include, for example, that you need to acknowledge the Data Providers and the INCISIVE project in any Publication/Project/Study that results from the use of INCISIVE data.
